Our quiet drive-in base camp, located just minutes from the town of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, is nestled among the trees on the shore of Abram Lake. Being part of the famous English River Waterway, this area offers some of the best fishing available for walleye, northern, small mouth bass, lake trout, perch, whitefish and musky. In addition, we have bear management areas located minutes from camp for those who wish to enjoy world class bear hunting.
We offer an exciting opportunity to bear hunt in the nearby bush where we have several bear management areas. There is a robust bear population that allows hunters to have consistent opportunities to bag a trophy bear. The hunts include expert guides, stands, and transportation to the hunt areas. The camp is owned and operated by Carol & Tony George who, along with their family, have run the operation since 1997. Both having been born and raised in Sioux Lookout, they contribute a wealth of local knowledge and experience towards making everybody's first or successive stay an enjoyable and memorable occasion.

Well finally some good news on the border closures……. As of August 9 fully vaccinated persons may be allowed to travel for recreational purposes into Canada !! They are still releasing some of the details on this such as which vaccines are eligible or recognized, pre-travel testing, potential quarantine plans……….going …
